Glitch - Collection
Share
Glitch is a collection born from moments of imperfection—a personal archive of distorted images that emerged unexpectedly during my years as an art director. Whether it was a corrupted file refusing to open properly or a printing mishap producing unexpected distortions, these technical slip-ups captured something raw, something that couldn’t be planned or replicated. They were mistakes, yes, but they were also something more—pieces of accidental art that stood out in their unexpected beauty.
It all began with a corrupted Photoshop file on my computer. I discovered that whenever I tried opening multiple files alongside this glitched one, it would mix the previously opened images, resulting in spectacular visual distortions. It felt as though my computer had decided to dabble in collage-making on its own. Naturally, I became hooked—experimenting with endless combinations, opening files in different sequences, and eagerly anticipating the unpredictable visuals the bug would conjure. What initially seemed like a frustrating technical issue quickly transformed into an unexpected wellspring of creative inspiration.

The first ever glitch my computer produced.
For years, these images sat as fragments of my creative process, small reminders of how even when things go wrong, they can sometimes go beautifully wrong. Now, with image upscale technology, these fleeting moments of imperfection have been given a new life—enlarged and reimagined, their textures and forms brought to the forefront.
This collection isn’t just about glitches themselves; it’s about the stories they tell. It’s about embracing the unexpected and recognizing that creativity often flourishes in the spaces where precision falters. In a world that constantly demands perfection, Glitch celebrates the humanity in mistakes—the moments where a machine stumbles and reveals something uniquely beautiful.

I thought this chicken image was outrageously funny.
By transforming these digital hiccups into bold, unapologetic pieces of art, Glitch asks us to reconsider what we value in both technology and creativity. Sometimes, the most meaningful work isn’t born from meticulous planning but from the cracks where chaos sneaks through. It’s not just about errors or malfunctions; it’s about the possibility they represent, the way they challenge us to see beauty in the unplanned.
